I have exactly the same problem. I did everything (open ports - put the PS4 on the DMZ - Turn ON or OFF UPnP) just like @MirthaLegrand said. but I always see high latency warning on my screen and I feel the latency during the game. I have no problem with my connection. I tested with other games on PS4, PC. I use hardwired connection. That problem continues for almost a month.
Hello @06madcat
I am really sorry for those connection issues in Battlefield 1. Your frustration with it is totally understandable. Have you tried to disconnect all the other devices from your router, so your console is the only connected device? Some players reported this to significantly improve their connection with the game. Trying to play, using alternative ISP, perhaps a mobile one, can help us to get more insight on nature of this issue. Keep us posted.
Cheers,
Archi
- Anonymous9 years agoInstead of forcing us tu use mobile phone or any other isp (which is not easy to change), may be EA simply FIX that! I have no problem with COD PS4 servers. I have no problem with PC apps. So I have no problem with connecting internet but EA PS4 servers. Thanks.
- Anonymous9 years agoSo when I want to play battlefield, nobody else in my house can use the Wi-Fi? That is not a fix, it does not happen with any other game only Bf1 ping up and above 6000 I mean this game is a joke now, as if it wasn't before, I paid £50 for this unplayable broken piece of *, and £40 to play online and your telling me I have to disconnect every device to make it work.... I want a damn refund
