PSN Link issues

I purchased battlefield 3 and the premium pack from playstation store and noticed that the battle feed does not work it says that I have not activated it yet it says to go to battlelog.battlefield.com to register but no registration link was their so I asked a friend to help he pointed out that I had to make an origin account first link my PSN account to it then go back to battlelog and sign in so i checked to see if i had an origin account already but I couldn't remember my password so I followed the link for forgot password entered my Email account details in (which is the same as my psn sign in) it continued to say an email has been sent to this address but I received no email from origin for the password link I tried this two more times on separate days still no email so I created a new account receiving the welcome and verification email and tried to link my PSN account from there but I was met by an prompt saying that this account is already in use as I have had no email over three days confirming that a previous account exists and the new account wasn't linked how could this be and if there is a previous account why has their been no emails sent to the linked email account I am sure nobody else has the same gamer tag and PSN account as this would be a conflict for both me and any other PSN user who has the same tag (it's impossible really) how can I retrieve my original details from the origin account that is supposedly stopping me linking my PSN to my new account or access my original account out right
