Punkbuster Violation AIMBOT #59094 / Even Balance Support

This is a community based technical support forum. We don't have ties to Evenbalance. Most of us don't even work for EA. Not even close.

You can ofc. play on non Punkbuster servers if you like.

thanks for your reply. I'm not aware of how EAs support is structured. I was seeking for help and the website redirected me to this forum.

Do you have a suggestion, which steps I should take to sort things out, if evenbalance completely ignores my requests? I hope this thread is not being closed again, as I might have a question after your next answer.

I'm with you on that Guelletaucher! This is a maddening situation where we're left with zero support, both from even balance and EA. EA says ask EB, and EB says there's nothing we can do... so what!?! As I said in the battlelog forum, punkbuster adds a game in the game, and it's called 'russian roulette'! So yes, if PB is integrated in a EA game, I'd like to know from EA if he's willing to help me. Why can't I appeal what I consider a dicatorial ban? I did all I could on my side to check my system for I was banned for a violation (AIMBOT) #59094. Found nothing! Asked a friend of mine to log on with own bf4 account and play on my computer. Worked perfectly. EB pretends my account or CD key could have been stolen... Still not admitting something could went wrong on their side. And even though such thing happened, which I doubt, can't EA verify I'm the genuine owner of both account and CD key? They have my e-mail and billing information right?

I did a lot of googling and this #59094  is coming up a lot.  For the amount of people being banned for this number I don't see an awful lot of people saying they think it was a false postiive.

It has to be said, if Evenbalance finds a certain violation to be triggered by a legal program (happens practically never) then they will ofc. remove the ban again.

I know that. There have been false detections in the past, eg Violation #89265, which occured in the end of 2013. Don't know how many where affected, but i fear it were a lot more.

@WootCandy: I believe you, when you say that you as forum moderators / administrators cannot do anything about it. It's just an evenbalance issue. An instant permaban is quite a draconian penalty, there should be a warning system, eg 3 violations and then permaban.

But I'm trying to use the official EA forum as a platform, to bring more attention to the disastrous policy of punkbuster / evenbalance, if something goes wrong.

And in the end the worst thing in this matter is that we are stigmatised as cheaters, those creatures we also would love to see rot in hell (of course I can just speak for myself).

I'm with you Guelletaucher. I am experiencing the same issue and am now unable to play BF4.  I live in Australia and cannot find a single local server free from punk buster.  This leaves me with a completely useless product and as far as I'm concerned it is illegal.  My error message within 2 -3 seconds of connecting to a BF4 server.

Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'Kilgore_12' (for 2 minutes) ... Violation (AIMBOT) #59094"

As you mentioned there is a growing number of upset and frustrated people on the BF4 forum: Forum Link however I believe that many people who have this issue simply don't speak up and those that do don't pursue the problem vigerously enough.

As a note of interest this problem occured directly after I applied the latest BF4 patch.  I did not install any other software during this period.  This leaves me to believe the patch has caused the error.  The BF4 forum linked above was also opened around the same time this patch was released.

Further to this I believe it was appropriate for you to open this thread regardless of what EA says.  I don't believe it is an adequate response for EA to say they take no responsilibty for this issue.  As far as I'm concerned EA has sold me a defective product.

My next step will be to request a full money refund from EA because I believe my product is defective.  However, it sounds like they won't accept such a request.  My next option will be to contact the ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) and see what my options are in regards to fraud and being sold a defective product.

I can appreciate that my response to this issue is somewhat melodramatic considering we are just talking about a computer game but it is the principle that counts here.  I cannot tolerate big companies walking over the little people.  I will pursue this issue until I have exhausted all options and I hope all those who have been unfairly treated on this issue do the same.

The same situation 5 years playing BF. Never used cheats. And now banned. This is clearly a mistake that must be corrected!

i also am a victim of the same false ban

as others have stated i am a long time player of many FPS and have never once used a hack or even wanted to look for one.

I feel very strongly that EA should be paying much more attention to these claims as they keep adding up. and it is there job to supply a functional product, as that is what we paid for.

What I don't get is why Even Balance doesn't provide us with a clear and undisputable proof after such a severe action against us. Violation AIMBOT #59094 doesn't tell me much...Could be anything and abuse is also possible! Anyway, I don't believe PB worked correctly for a simple reason: PB should have triggered the same violation when I asked a good friend to play on my computer with his own BF4 account. But it didn't... So here I am, left in a no man's land and some vague hypothesis from a company like EB. In one of their tickets, they say: "To be clear: we are not saying that you cheated as we have no way to know who triggered the violation." So what, I'm not at fault here but still I'm penalized? All I'm asking is EA to verify my identity by all means in order for them to make sure I'm the sole and genuine owner of the banned account and cd key. Once this is done, they can pass that information to EB and lift the ban. Is that silly / impossible?
