purchased BF 4 premium but not given any product codes

what am I doing wrong? I can not find any product code and not getting any help from EA help service either! I have only received a receipt for my purchase, it is not showing up for download in my ga...

    @GETEE Where did you purchase your BF4 premium from? 

    If you have made the purchase in the Origin store and you already had the BF4 base game edition on that same account, you will not need or be given any product codes as the premium is automatically unlocked by the Origin system. To view it, press your BF4 base game edition icon in "My Games" section of your Origin client, press "View Game Details" or the "i" button next to play, then scroll down and in the games "Expansion" section you will see your premium unlocked along with your expansion packs. Just download and install your expansions one by one and you will be set to go (press the expansion icon and then press "Download").

    Note that BF4 Premium only appears in the expansion set and not in the main library.

    If you purchased your BF4 Premium from a 3rd party retailer and you did not find any codes, then you will sadly need to go and talk to your retailer about this problem as only they will be able to help you in this case. Make sure to have your proof of purchase with you before you go to them.

    OK thank you XXXO77O4906 and W4rH0rse for all of your help, sorry for being such a NOOB, but I gather from what your saying is that I need to also purchase BF4 as premium is an expansion set only. Thank you to you both.

      @GETEE Sadly that is correct, premium is only an add-on to the base game and will not work without it. Once you get the base game you should be all good but without it premium can not be used on its own or seen in your library.
