Purple diamond, square, or ring on minimap

What does this mean? While playing the game, many of us have pressed "start" (xBox) and noticed these symbols on the minimap. Sometimes the diamond around the flag is no longer the correct color but ...

hi, i am a regular bfbc2 player, and was just accused, quite abusively, of cheating, i'm assuming the red neck meant this purple square anomaly, but i have not cheated, i wouldn't know how, i have no mods to xbox or anything, but he's threatening to have me banned. can microsoft or EA check me to make sure i'm not cheating please? i would like to clear this up as i am not a cheat and do nit like being accused of it, or called the names this person called me. and i got just as angry in the end, and turned of the game. i enjoy battlefield a lit. as a 30 something year old mother if two, it's one of my only alone pleasures and i don't want to deal with people like that. i have no modifcitations and i would like to prove it and clear my name. i am good at the game, i don't need to cheat and i want this guy to know it.

    Its about time someone spoke up. Thank you maam. THIS has got to be the biggest problem currently in this game. Not cheaters, but the ppl accusing us skilled and dedicated players of cheating, these people are the real problem here. And i totally agree with you and forever will. Its just ridiculous. My girlfriend is also an excellent player and she is constantly one of the accused, so we stand on very common ground here despite being on different consoles. Wish you had a ps3, i would love for you to join DSQD. We are a highly devoted BC2 clan, we love this game, and for the most part, we are accused of cheating constantly. It is just simply this......we are organized, we communicate well, and therefore we kick butt. No more explanation necessary. Thanks for speaking up, i really wish i could help you prove your not a cheater, i do believe you. James.

      James again, my name shows up as null, and i assume this is because ive never actually confirmed this email with psn (i will get to that within the next few days). My email address i actually use is [edit: email address removed]. This emaill address i used for my first psn id, crashandburn0225. Thanks again and sorry if im posting too much, i just really wish these issues with these accusers could be easily resolved with some sort of proof, and i wanted to make sure if EA does decide to act on this issue, that they have the correct information to contact me if need be necessary.
