If you put Puzzle pieces into your Inventory, you can still Scrap them from there.
If it didn't gave you Scraps if you sold it from the Inventory, so it's probably kinda bugged cause you have this Weapon already.
In that case i would advise you to make sure you Scrap Puzzle Pieces right away from the Battlepacks!(If you have the Weapon already)
