R11 -- increased Rubberbanding on certain maps, read on
EA, R11 release has created issues with certain maps rubberbanding and lagging players again in our NFO server. These issues we had last seen pre R9 server patch. The maps affected by this rubberbanding and lag which got a lot worse after R11's server patch are listed below: We are running a ConquestLarge server with 64 player slots on Normal and Official settings.
MP_Damage - Lancang Dam
MP_Journey - Golmud Railway
MP_Resort - Hainain Resort
MP_Naval - Paracal Storm
Lancang Dam and Golmud Railway have really bad sound issues as well. Something happened between the R10 release and the R11 release to make these maps unstable again. I've been reading reports from our NFO forums where most of us report issues that many if not all Conquest Large servers with these maps are having similar issues of banding and lag created by these maps. We've not been able to pinpoint the issue related to the levolution on the map as it simply happens most all of the time and is really bad when in vehicles or when flying.
I hope you can address these map stability issues in the next client and server patch. In the meantime these maps are unplayable and removed from our server rotation until they are fixed and no longer affect server stability.
