Hi,

Thank you for your reply but unfortunately that didn't work.

Best,

Carlos.

WIth the new Origin client Origin in game has to be disabled two times, once under the global application preferences and once under the "show game details". Did you disable Origin in game in both locations @AndeanSky

Hello. Try to uninstall any vc++2013, download x86 and x64 packages of VC2013  and run/install it as Admin.

    Hi,

Yes I did disable it on both general settings and application settings.

    Error still remains the same.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Hi MADragON,

I installed the links you provided and there is definitely some progress here. I am able to open the application now but unfortunately it freezes and then crashes right after the first loading screen.

Thank you very much for your reply and help.

    Best,

    Carlos.

    Hi again,

The crash itself doesn't prompt any window or message, it just closes down.

I ran the diagnostic. Here is the file.

    Hi,

It has been great advise from MADragon, it has helped a lot. I was able to run other EA games that were previously not working.

Unfortunately Battlefield still doesn't work since I haven't been able to update Service Pack 1. I tried trouble shooting it following the advice on this website https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/15090/windows-7-install-service-pack-1-sp1 but it hasn't helped so far. If there is anything you can advise I would love to hear it.

I am getting the 800F0A12 error but I haven't had the time yet to search for a solution.

Thank you for following up on this.

    Best Regards,

    Carlos.

    Hi MADragOn,

I was looking further for a solution and it was mentioned a few times partitions.

I decided to unplug all my internal drives and leave only the system drive.

This allowed for the update to be installed and the game now is running.

Thank you very much for your help and assistance. Much appreciated.

    Best Regards,

    Carlos.
