Re: Battlefield 1 not working after updating my drivers!

Hi @XTC_Flick

Unfortunately, I think you are using the integrated video card(Intel HD...) instead of the dedicated video card (Asus GeForce GTX 1060 6gb DUAL) .Because you talk only about the video drivers for your video card integrated INTEL.

Download video driver for Asus GeForce GTX 1060 6gb DUAL from here http://www.geforce.com/drivers then install

Restart your machine.

Now to use only your dedicated video card (Asus GeForce GTX 1060 6gb DUAL) do this:

The simplest step would be it :go to BIOS settings and disable the integrated card.

Or:

Type Nvidia into your search to find the program "Nvidia Control Panel."

Under manage 3d settings, it might take a second to load (or you might have to click the add button), but look for "Battlefield 1" in the first dropdown box under program settings.

Box 2 says "Select the Preffered graphics processor for this program," click the dropdown and select the graphics card you want to use.

 I wait a feedback,mate.😉

  • Hey

    Thanks for the answer!

I coulnd't figure out how to disable intel hd in the bios. But i did this: windows+r --- devmgmt.msc --- then pressed dispaly adapters --- then i right clicked intel(r) HD graphics 530 and pressed disable.

i also downloaded the top download (automatic driver updates) on your link, but i didn't do anything with it besides installing it and logging in.

But when i tried to open battlefield, it said:

    Please update your drivers

detected microsoft basic render driver is unknown. the required driver version is AMD, intel, nvidia, etc. or later. please update your driver at amd.com, intel.com, nvidia.com, etc. before playing the game.

And when i tried to open nvidia control panel it said:

Nvidia display settings are not avaiable

You are not currently using  a display attached to an nvidia GPU.

Thank you for helping and sorry if i misunderstood anything. Because i am really not good at this.

    Thanks!

At some point, you have disconnected your display screen, and plugged it into the imbedded chip's video port!  The other port, on the GPU, is the correct one to attach the display to!

    You are an absouloute legend

I thought my pc was a rip off for 10k dollars, cause nothing was working for me!

i ran battlefield on low graphics and low everything and it was still a bit laggy. Now it runs ultra like a beast!

    Thank you so much!
