But if that's the case, how is that my cpu handled the game very good at even ultra settings and had no issues until that June update ? Or so other peoples cpus ? As I said I tried lowering the graphics, it doesn't seem to help much. Can you write down the cpu intensive graphics settings if you know so I can set them to very low.
I am using the Windows 10 64-bit Pro version and I haven't installed the creators update. My game is running at DX11 (DX12 has way worse stuttering)
I will try what you did on the cfg file but I don't think it will work since I play with vsync on (if I turn off vsync the screen tearing becomes worse than anything, since I have a 60hz display)

I think EA just effed up something about the game optimization (willingly or not I don't know.)

I am really sorry for those issues with Battlefield 1. Have you been able to solve this, thanks to other players input? Let us know, how you are doing. If the problems persists, can you try to load your system, using Clean Boot, and launch the game afterwards? Keep us posted.

I haven't been able to solve the issue no matter what I've done. Last game (2 days ago at Empire's Edge) my fps dropped literally to 15 on the top of the castle without any effects and there I stopped playing the game. I tried refunding the game & got refused since I played too much (around 150 hours) until the June update.

Since you're in Win10 have you tried turning off the Xbox DVR functionality, turning off origin in game (both in the origin global application settings and under BF1's game settings under show game details in origin?), and I also recommend uninstalling GeForce experience and install only the drivers for your card since Shadow Play has been causing performance issues with some people's rigs as well, and I got a noticeable increase in stability at BF1 after launch by uninstalling GeForce Experience.

Regarding settings, the entire game is CPU intensive, not just a specific settings. The problem with hardware that isn't at the minimum recommended spec is that it may work for a long time and then a game, driver, or even an OS update hits and you have problems. The minimum specs are the lowest performance spec that DICE says BF1 will reliably run, anything outside of those specs runs by luck and good fortune of the gaming gods.

As for those minimal specs, these are nonsensical to begin with as according DICE i6 6600k is comparable to the AMD FX-6350. Anyone who is not completely technically ignorant knows this is an absolute bullcrap and said amd cpu is considerably weaker to even i5-6400 (even in games that love threads and works well with amd cpus like for example Crysis 3) , not mention the 6500. So operate with these obviously randomly choiced minimal requirements is pointless to begin with. Game worked fine on release on said hw, so I dont see any excuse to accept performance-crippling patches, but hey same happened with BF4 so who is really suprised.

That said it is a good advice to get rid those stupid xbox and gaming related * microsoft added into Windows and uninstalling geforce experience is generally good idea unless you really love Shadowplay.

After disabling most of these things (including some register tweaks)  game runs solid and im running i5-6500, though it was a bit better at launch. 

 For screen tearing u have to go BF1.exe >Properties>Compatible> and tick Disable fullscreen optimizations  

I'm same, used to comfortably play this game at 70 fps with most things on ultra (oc'd 3570k, 1060).  I've come back after a while away from the game and I'm now getting between 30-40 fps.

hi i am also having the same issues didn't play for a while come back and find i am only getting between 30/40 fps rang EA for them to say its my system when i know it isn't has same has you i have run the game in ultra before. then i call again for them to say its there end and just to bare with. I done all trouble shooting and nothing getting really annoying has every other game i play runs smooth its just BF1 don't. SYSTEM is mother board is gigabyte 990fx gaming,mem is hyer x 16gb ddr3 @1866mhz, processer amd8350 8core, gpu is r9 390 8gb

 power supply 750 coisair, 120 ssd, 2nd drive is 2tb hdd.

Mine is Intel 7600K, overcloked. With GTX 1080 Ti. My CPU usage never go above 85%.

First game 140+ fps. Second game 50- fps.

Dont tell me the issue is my system or my drivers.

I have 1080 Ti with around 1970 Mhz, 8700k @ 4,8 Ghz all cores, 16 GB DDR4 Ram with 3000 Mhz and Nvidia Settings at Max Power Mode for BF1. Also I have only 30-40 Background processes at Windows, so my System is completely optimized.
I Play at 1440p with all Ultra Settings and I get average About 130 fps which would be normally fine, but sometimes I get massive fps Drops and also stuttering. At Amiens only 100 fps, dont know if normal. But yeah, in General often fps Drops and stuttering, probably since last update, I don´t know.
I could Play with low or medium Settings to get less Drops but I want the best graphics I can have. Also if I Play with medium Settings Amiens is still under 120 fps I think.

I just think it is not a hardware issue, Battlefield 1 has now serious fps drops problems and Dice needs to push another update to fix this.

I have about the same setup and I'm getting way worse frames than you, on ultra 1440p settings 60-120fps, it stays somewhat stable for a second(about 100fps) and then stutters to 60-70 with massive lag and it keeps happening again and again..

Really frustrating.

But one thing I wonder is that if I drop resolution to 1920x1080, my frames get even worse! 50-90fps..

I ran ccleaner, no effect. It seems that the stuttering was fixed by emptying standby memory, it seems to be filling to the max on ram. I also used Screen Timer to adjust screens timing to 0,5 as it seems that newest windows update is causing trouble to many. But still strugling with low fps at 2k, and still drops more if I drop resolution to 1920x1080.

I'm also experiencing these FPS drops. A year ago this game worked flawlessly, even a few months ago too. I recently played it again and I get these horrible FPS drops which make the game unplayable. Now my PC isn't exactly a beast by any means but I was playing this game fine on the highest settings. I tried playing on low and it still happens. The issue is with the game or the drivers not the hardware at this point. I verified the game twice, hell, I even reinstalled Windows completely and it still happens. My friend who has the same specs as me albeit the GPU (He has an AMD GPU) it doesn't happen to him which makes me think either something wrong with the game or the drivers. Although I can play every other game on the highest settings just fine.

These high spikes are the FPS drops.

Same issue here.

Games become unplayable for 2-10 seconds and then runs without issues.

It is happening with both BF1 and SW BF 2 :/
I own these games from the release and never had issues with them. Just now

I have BF V on prepaid reserve. Reports of server lag and rubber banding have been widespread over the last 2-3 weeks. If this continues, I don't think I'm going to be interested in continuing my BF series.
