- @SeregDuin My thought aswell, tried to play bf3 now and got the same problem. Why does the EA representative ask for the computer specs when it's clearly something else. Go woke and go broke.
I'm pretty sure it is a compatibility problem with the later EA app. They have updated it from Origin but haven't bothered to allow older games to use it. There are a few hacks around to install the old origin app and prevent it from updating but we shouldn't have to do that. EA fix it. You shouldn't be selling games that can't be played.
Ok . Uninstalled and got a refund from steam. Bought a copy directly from EA here: Buy Battlefield 3 – PC – EA. It was about the same price. I will let you know if it works.
Yep that works without a hitch. It's just EA making it a bad experience on Steam to try and steal customers back to EA platform. Steam should sue.

Hey @SeregDuin, where exactly do you see a solution?
The only post that I see that can vaguely be seen as a 'solution', is the 'accepted solution' of this thread where we request further details.
If we do not have the requested information, I am afraid that a possible investigation into the issue will be quite difficult.

EA Error generated code: 307628fb-3c00-45a9-868e-c1305a8b2a08 - @EA_Leeuw You're doing a great job with the info you have but you should let people know to stop chasing their tails because nothing in the list of things you suggest trying will help nor will sending info about their computer. They just have to wait for EA to do something to fix the issue on their end or abandon Steam in this case. The problem does not occur for version bought from EA website.

so I basically got the same problem. I got in the EA App and didn´t played the game quite a while - about a year. It keeps asking me about a product key if I want to launch it and if I want to type said key in, it says my PC is offline. None of the EA proposed solutions works. Anyone got some information about the issue or a solution? (Language in the pictures is german sorry)Same here for two weeks now.
No solution from live chat with EA.
They suggested to make a new account in Windows! Next it's gonna be to ask me to get a new car in order the game to just play as it did two weeks ago.
Show some mercy and check your EA-origin game integration plz.

- @EA_Leeuw Do you understand your own actions? You understand that for the third time in a row you provide a link to a text that does not help people. If it helped, you've already received letters of thanks instead of angry ones. And you still continue to give links to useless text. Do you feel good? Or is EA forcing you to be unhealthy because they don't have an answer? You are simply extreme in this situation, without understanding the situation.

There is no solution at all for this problem.

Why is it called "Accepted Solution"?
Please take a look at the top of the Accepted Solution post to see why it's marked as Accepted Solution.If the troubleshooting steps didn't work, refer to the section titled "If you continue to experience the issue" in the post, which requests the necessary information for further investigation.
Unfortunately, only one post (I am afraid that we need more, the more the better) has shared the required information so far. It is maybe recommended to take a look at that post as an example if you're having trouble formatting the information.

Same problem, but i haven't steam version, i was on origin before.
same problem here after Windows 10 -> 11 Upgrade BF3 not working and ask me for new key for my (origin) ea ap acc , after i put my key next error im not online .....

I think its a Windows 11 Problem .
I switch back to Windows 10 Home 22H2 and BF3 work fine with same account = EA App .
Only if i Upgrade my Windows 10 Home 22H2 to Windows 11 Home 22H2 , BF3 not working with this ea account .
(all other Battlefield parts : 1,4,5,2042 work fine with Windows 11 only BF3 have problem)
