Re: Battlefield 3 EN Language change

@Nino_Z Languages selction is regional, so if you pick up a western EU copy it'll have German, English, Italian, etc, if it's Eastern European you'll have Russian and languages from that region. There is no way to import an English language pack into a Russian copy of the game. In order to access a language version you'll have to do what Customer Support stated and purchase a copy of the game from a region that has the English language as an option.

    @ragnarok013Next time, don't bother to type if you are going to repeat what I wrote as though it was a solution. That is nonsense and the point of my whole post. The reasonable thing to do is for the customer support to say "Of course, Sir! We would happily remove the game from your library and offer you a CD key for the BF3 Premium Edition EU free of charge for both you and your wife! We value our paying customers and agree that you should not be in a worse position than someone who has gotten the game for free. We hope you are satisfied with our service"
    This is what should happen. A paying customer should not have to pay twice in order to get the same thing as a free-to-play person.
    It amazes me how there are people who look at anti-consumer practices and smile, while asking for more...

    @Nino_Z This is a community driven (ie gamers helping gamers) technical self help site. Nobody here can access your account let alone remove a game and replace it with another from a different region hence reinforcing when EA Customer support told you on the matter since it is the only legitimate answer.

    @ragnarok013 They read this here. Hell, it's where it sends me when I want to share my issue by opening a ticket. Either this or a phone call. Anyway, stop typing nonsense just to boost your post count. Find someone else to annoy with your nonsense.

    @Nino_Z

    Thanks for reaching out!

    While I sympathize with your situation, as mentioned by @ragnarok013, this isn't something we'll be able to assist with on Answers HQ. Account related queries are reviewed by our support team at EA Help.

    You do mention you've already been in contact with them. If they aren't able to replace your copy, then purchasing an English version is the only option left.

    Keep in mind @ragnarok013 is a volunteer giving up his free time to help fellow players. Even if you don't like an answer you receive here, please treat others within this community with respect. A small ask, but it helps everyone.

    Regards,

    @Straatford87 I too come here to help the community on my own free time. If someone wants respect, they will surely have a higher chance of receiving it by earning it and not simply posting for the sake of their post count. Respect goes both ways and it cannot be demanded without giving as well. Anyway, I've said my piece. EA isn't getting a cent from me until this is resolved to my satisfaction. While I am sure that my decision will not cause them to go bankrupt, it's also known that I am not the first to make that choice. Keep up the good work - screw the paying customer! See where it gets you.
