yes it is, Origin, Steam and web version of Battlelog are all open.

  • @OJSU I just had this happen earlier in the week it was extremely frustrating. I found a fix earlier this morning so please try these steps in order:

    1. Uninstall Battlefield 3 in Steam
    2. Hold the Windows key + R.
    3. In the command box that opens, type %ProgramData%/Origin then click OK.
    4. Go into LocalContent folder and delete Battlefield 3's folder
    5. Navigate to This Pc /Local Disk (C🙂/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common and delete the Battlefield 3 folder (your location may be different if you didn't use the default installation location)
    6. Restart your PC
    7. Install Battlefield 3 on Steam. Hit Play in Steam to finalize Installation
    8. Join a server via Battlelog while Steam and Origin are both running.

Sadly, I've tried all those steps multiple times and it did not solve the problem. I am still stuck on 'joining server' and 'initializing'

  • @OJSU Which browser are you using on Battlelog? Have you tried disabling script and ad blockers while using Battlelog as sometimes those will prevent Battlelog from functioning?

Hey, @TonyGrinton97  make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth reinstalling the GPU drivers for your PC.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield 3 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

    /Atic
