Well that's sad. It's the only game I play and marks the end of my xBox gold membership. Had to happen one day I suppose.

It's unfortunate for sure. I have some very fond memories of Bad Company and BC 2. Hopefully, we'll see a return at some point.
@EA - Absolutely foolish move taking the BFBC2 servers down. I'm the guy that spends money on all the new games to just come back to this title again and again. BFBC2 had a unique gameplay style that's not jerky like BF4 and 2042, and the UI was superior, in my opinion. I'm sure it was taken down to try to sell newer games. There are idiots out there like me who have logged literally thousands of hours playing this game online. I would have honestly paid $150 or more a year just to have that pleasure. I don't care for the game dynamics of the newer stuff - just too jerky and comes across like a kid's game. BFBC2 had a gameplay that was refined compared to the other dribble that is being pumped out these days. In the land of free memory, this seems incredibly short-sided. No BFBC2 = no more title purchases.
@Microsoft - BFBC2 has earned you several console purchases for just this one game. No BFBC2 or equivalent replacement = no more console purchases. Literally logged off tonight. I'm out.
Well this sucks!
This is *, just purchased my 5th Xbox just to play this title . What a waste
It would be nice to view my online stats but I can’t that’s great. Thanks for EA for not allowing
Bad company 1 and 2 are some of my favorite games. Why can’t I have the option to at least buy it to play the campaign? I just switched to Xbox so didn’t get the opportunity to download before you guys took it off the store. Makes no sense. I won’t play the new games cause they can’t beat the quality of the old ones.

I wish that was an option for me. I bought a series S so it’s not disc compatible. Just don’t get why they would take it off store. I know it’s old but I can still play any old cod any time I want even online. Ea just wants more profits. Not an enjoyable experience for players across the board.
