I spoke with EA Help and man what a joke that is.  "Troubleshooting" included 'deleting files in my TEMP directory as well as running a 'clean boot' which despite me telling them that I had already tried that they wouldn't deviate from the script. *SIGH*

Its incredibly frustrating and since there doesn't seem to be a fix for this Im just going to get my money back...so sad that this is such a major GAME BREAKING issue as I really wanted to play.  Guess I'll just go back to BF3 until BF4 is on sale.

Someone here said to TURN OFF PEERBLOCK.
