So strange. I know that it could seem stupid but can you try launching the game from a different browser?

I have tried that with IE, the same thing happens. I start to .......click on server.......joining server......logging in ( hardline icon comes up) then...wait for it!!!!! icon goes......nothing at all. When the log-in starts it goes through Origin and on to the server that i have clicked on, is that right? If it is then somewhere there is where the trouble is? If that is right then why does Origin shut down and then i have to go to start again in order to start Origin? Is this correct or am i going a different way round? If that is right or nearly right then everything on my PC is ok with Hardline, is has to be after my instructions are sent,for a better word down my broadband line!. Is this any help to solve the problem?...thanks again!!

1st. make sure your browser is runing plugin free. Check profile-settings/general, 1st option.
2nd. make sure your firewall is let out BFH and the webhelper exe.
3rd. temporary disabble antivirus
For me I had to add manualy for windows firewall every BF related exe in both network (privat & public) however if I wanna play hardline, i have to disable AVG temporary.
Well..well..well I disabled Avast anti-virus for 10mins and the game WORKED!!! Put avast back on and it did NOT work. I do not like to run anything with out a anti -virus program but in this instance I have no choice. Maybe Avast will read this and make changes to there program.

glad to see that we found the solution. BTW. I dont think you have to worry about the temporary disabled antivirus if in this period you just play. The firewall is still active only the "real time scan" is off. Just dont forget to turn it back after playtime.
