Unable to Launch Battlefield 1 After EA Anti-Cheat Update

I recently updated the EA Anti-Cheat software for Battlefield 1, but now I am unable to launch the game. After the update, I get an error message or the game just fails to start without any notification. I have tried restarting my computer, verifying the game files, and running the game as an administrator, but nothing seems to work.
