Hm, well the other option I'd recommend would disabling in game overlays in the EA app, Steam, Discord and Nvidia Geforce Experience.

If that doesn't help then download DDU https://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4949.

Download the latest Nvidia  driver.

Restart the PC in safe mode (important).

Run DDU make sure to check the option of preventing windows install of drivers and click the  remove physics box.

Select gpu , uninstall and restart.

Once back in windows (normal start) install the Nvidia driver and make sure to go with a custom install and don't install Geforce Experience.

Also do you have some other stuff running in the background ?

I tend to go with clean installs and no bloatware (RGB software) so usually I never have issues like these.
