Re: BF1 There are no Servers ?

There is no answer. EA/Dice need to fix this problem. You can mess with the filter all you want. It won't work. You can refresh the stinking browser all day long. It won't work. It is the same BS from EA/Dice. They don't care about this issue. I have seen recent messages about "auto balancing" in BF1 lately. But, that is all it is. Just a message with no difference in the balance of a game. Put all these issues together with frequent game crashes and freezes in Windows 10 and the experience is pretty sorry. EA/Dice just don't care. They care only about ceaseless promotions and dopey battlepack "give aways" to keep players distracted from these ever, ongoing issues. Get used to it. It isn't going to change anytime soon. Consider this when EA/Dice come out with any new content in the future. I know I will. Oh, and Incursions stinks too. The matchmaking process will put one to sleep before you ever see a match.

Yes. That is because EA/Dice are the only ones who can fix the issue. But, they don't care.

A few quick questions.

What region are you in? 

What filter do you use when looking for servers? (screenshot of the filters)

I am located on the East Coast. Fiddling with the filter hasn't helped one bit. I have attached some jpg screenshots of what I see in my browser and pertinent filter settings. This is an EA/Dice issue to fix. Not me. I have done everything from resetting filter settings (then I get "NO SERVERS FOUND" only.  The filter settings I currently use are the only way I get to see any servers. I primarily want to play Conquest or Conquest Assault. But do have other game modes included. You are not the first one to attempt to assist those of us having this issue by suggesting we change our filters. It doesn't work.

Also, as you can see in the screenshots, I always see either servers with a queue of varying lengths, or empty servers that stay empty for the most part. What used to be an easy endeavor has turned into a headache. I am constantly waiting to get through a queue and into a game. If the browser shows a game with, lets say 47 of 64, and I go into it. I will find that I am on an unbalanced server, despite having seen occasional messages that "auto balancing is taking place" but, it never does. I leave these stacked games because there is no fun or competition serving as stats fodder for the other team. So, basically the browser stinks. And now, I am beginning to see the same conditions in my old go to game: Battlefield 4. Although not nearly as frustrating as BF1 is now. And lets not even discuss BF Incursions. The matchmaking process is time consuming and frustrating as well. Despite Dice claiming they had fixed that issue awhile back.   

I know. Sorry to bring you down. Although it is really EA/Dice that are doing it. BFV will be coming out soon and they are hyping the * out of it. I won't be pre ordering. After this experience, why would I? I am hoping that once BFV comes out and is established, that BF1, much like BF4 will become a bit less popular and there will more private/clan servers than Dice servers. This will make for a better online experience. Or at least that is the hope. BFV meanwhile will be good for awhile and then it too, will become like what BF1 is now.

EA/Dice have proven that they just don't care about these issues which tarnish their reputation and make potential customers for future products angry and frustrated. They must be under the mistaken impression that the gaming community will take this kind of nonsense. And yet, keep buying their next product. Unbalanced servers (where one team may have up to a squad or more players), lack of choices for servers (All seem to be either full with queues waiting or barren with no players joining). Or, finding a server with player slots available, but then you join to find it is either unbalanced or the team you were assigned to is getting *. Does this sound like fun to anybody? Why would I buy yet another WWII shooter and go through the same, lousy,  frustrating online experience? I am turning to Fortnite. Which even the free BR is a better online experience than what EA/Dice now offer. Even BF4 (which used to a very good online experience) has now inherited the same issues that we see in BF1. Don't even waste your time trying to get into a game of "Incursions". The matchmaking process there is total BS. It will tell you that you will have to wait up to 5 minutes for a match to be found. My experience is that you have to wait at least twice that long. So what we can deduce from these, real time experiences is that EA/Dice know about the issue. But choose not to do anything meaningful about it. I have seen messages in BF1, now and again that auto balancing is taking place. But it doesn't. The player count remains out of balance and the team with the most players will almost always win the match. What you can do is vote with your wallet and not buy BFV. That would send a message to EA/Dice...... maybe.

A side note: I love how this forum is censored but  anything can be chatted in BF1. Racist, profane slurs and just about any language is fine there. But here in the forums censorship rules. Hypocrisy at best.....

1. Go to the server browser filter and click the option to set the filter back to default settings
2. Add "none, 1-5, 6-10, and 10+" to the player slots category
3. Click view results/servers
