Re: BF3 PS3 - All US Servers low or no ping

Hello, are we problem to connect with servers from East Us and West Us. This servers have a ping value too low and we can't play with other players or friends. Here in Brazil, I'm a member of SSBR team and we have own server, but unfortanelly the same don't work for any days. Please, help us with this problem. We have too player from too countries that can't join in any server from East Us and West US. Are we waiting for a answer. Thanks.

We are having problems with the servers in battlefield 3. There are several days with the servers down, problems to enter the few that appear. And especially in the members of Brazil, that we have our own active server without being able to enter due to the problem with the servers. Please, we want a solution to the problem, we are many of those who kill the game in action and would like to continue enjoying the multiplayer service. Heeelllppppp diceee!

Still having issues connecting to West, East, and Europe. On Xbox 360

We should try a few things to see if we can help get this fixed here. When you have a chance please try running through the basic connection troubleshooting steps over at the EA Help site. If it's still happening after that check out the platform-specific steps as well: 

- PC

- Xbox

- PlayStation

@EA_Kent, @EA_Atic  thanks again for the reply.  I went through everything on what appeared to be 2 pages of connection and PS3 related troubleshooting, completed everything except deleting game data (that takes on average 8 hours to reinstall data for BF3, painful).  Double checked ports on the router and added a few from the list.

Here is the result, pretty much the same over the past few days - all photos taken with only selected server regions at a time.

Asia: 4 Ping

Australia: 3 Ping

Europe: 4 Ping

East US: 1 Ping

West US: 1 Ping

Last 2:

There are currently 4 "player rented" servers in East US, all the rest are [DICE] Servers, all East US servers are empty, 100%.

There are currently 29 "player rented" servers in West US, all the rest are [DICE] Servers, only 5 player rented servers are populated, only 1 running at capacity (24/24).

Please check your East us servers, the problem is not our local connection. Please don't let BF3 die. Thank you for the information.

I just wonder, if EA doesn't want to keep running servers, why don't close down all Dice servers and just leave Rented servers only with good pings, I keep renting servers because I am sick and tired of hackers with jailbreak consoles ruining everyone's experience on DICE official servers, since no solution to this issue is brought by you guys EA or SONY, we have no choice but rent servers and ban them, a job at least  EA should do, since SONY would not ban their consoles for good, blocking their ORIIGIN accounts would suffice, cheaters are well known by the community unable to do anything. I can also provide you their user names. WE NEED SERVER WITH RELIABLE PING OR GET RID OF HACKERS.
