Sometime punkbuster has problems updating and you can do it manually.

I did that too what you said but I can only find 1 Punkbuster in that list.

r-click your windows bar at bottom of screen and bring up taskmanager,goto service tab, find service PnkBstraA look at its status and make sure its running

I keep getting the same problem with my game and its only just started happaning after the latest battlefield 4 server updates and no i can not play the game. I have done what you have explained but i have no been able to find the files but i know i have punikbuster installed and battlefield 4 added, i can even see that the files A and B are ticked in allowed past firewall but i can not see the files on the Services.msc at all. Do you have a solution?

Same here. I can't find any of the PnkBstrA's. Either of them

Hello,

Make sure your anti-virus is not blocking punkbuster, also check windows firewall. 

Punkbuster has 2 services running in the background in order to check your PC for hacks or 3rd party programs influencing the game.

They are called:

PnkbstraA

In order to enable both do:

1. Press Windows button and R at the same time

2. enter "Services.msc"

3. Locate PnkBstraA on the list

4. Mark both and select "Start the service" on the left side.

4B. If already running restart it.

This should resolve your issue.

On both Battlefield Play4Free and Battlefield Heroes, I will play the match for like 5 minutes and then it Kicks me sayn "Punkbuster has Kicked you". Could it be the new update that is causing it or have I been Banned for a while, Please Help

I have looked for PnkbstraA, but I can't find it. I sorted everything in alphabetical order and scrolled to where all the names of services start with P. Am I missing something?
