Sorry those steps didn't work. We will have to dive a bit deeper then. Would you mind replying to this topic with a dxdiag?
Not sure if I've done it correctly, but here's the dxdiag

There's a couple of things I noticed on your dxdiag:
- Drive F: is a USB stick and formatted as FAT32, this most likely won't work since it doesn't have the correct file format
- Drive C: is an SSD with 118GB of free space left. Depending on the amount of reserved space that you set, not all of this space might be available for use. Please check your Samsung Magician software for this (I happen to have the same software at home, from the top of my head I think it is the Over Provisioning function)
- Drive D: has more than enough space and is the correct file format. It should work on this drive, but please make sure that you move the entire Origin Games folder to this drive. The Origin folder itself should always be on the same drive as your Windows installation.
I can't really detect any other issues on the dxdiag so I hope this puts you in the right direction. If you need further help then please create an Origin Error Report and provide me with the Report ID in this thread so I can try to find the reason that you get this error message.

Sorry for taking so long, Here's the ID of the report: 09b0a2548000d461

Thanks for sending over the report number. In the file I found two things:
- In the file I can see that you've put your games on your USB stick in the F:\Games\Battlefield folder. Can you please make sure you install the games on a dedicated HDD? This would be either your C: or D: drive. Please try this after following the below step.
- There seems to be some file corruption on your system relating to Origin. Can you please do a manual uninstall of Origin? Note that this differs from a normal uninstall that you've already done.
- Once Origin has been reinstalled, please run ccleaner as described in our guide and reboot your system
- Lastly, make sure that you always run and install Origin related content as administrator
Please let me know if that works out for you.
Not entirely sure how, but after several days of having given up on it, I tried installing it on D for the third time and it actually worked this time. I guess this post could be closed?

I will mark your post as the solution. Too bad we didn't find out the exact cause of the issue..
Thanks for updating me, though! Hope you're enjoying the game meanwhile.. 🙂
