This won't cause you to lose your account. Just let me know how it goes. Thank you 🙂
I have made a new account and I was given the same result with my main account what should I do now?
- I too cannot get the servers to connect. Did all the basic reset stuff. Gta5? Works 100%. Red dead 2? 100% Divison 2? 100%. But Battlefield 4? Says cannot connect to EA. So i refresh license. I can now get online....until i try to pick a server. Than im told it doesnt exist (only for it to exist after refreshing the server list again). Or im told i didnt but china rising, besides owning all the DLC and premium. If i select quick launch, that will get me on a server......a empty server. I have to keep refreshing the licenses and clicking and failing on the server list till suddenly, it lets me through.

Hello, @Big-Germany307
What system are you playing on? Also, when you say you did all the basic stuff, can you be more specific and tell me just what you did? Thank you!
My battlefield 4 cannot connect to online servers and my Star Wars battle front cannot either. I have tried everything that was said, making a new account gives me the same result.
playing other games is no problem but it’s just battlefield 4 and Star Wars just don’t work because they cannot connect to EA servers please help ☹️

Have you contacted an advisor to see if there are any issues with your account? If not, reach out to @EAHelp through Twitter or open a case with a live support advisor here: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/. They can check your account to see if there's something blocking your access.

Can you use the server browser to find a populated server to join?
I can see populated servers, but joining is hot or miss. Sometimes the server"disappears" only to pop back up a refreash later. Bthis sticks me in a loading que (not a full server que) that never ends or progresses. Or it loads, only to tell me i dont have the map (i have everything). Even if theres 5-10 open spots, still cant get in.

Try updating your DNS servers with the steps here: https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003048283-Changing-DNS-on-Popular-Gaming-Systems-PS4-XBox1-WiiU-. If that doesn't work, try using the google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4. Let me know what happens. Thanks!
ok here is the thing ... i have 50 friends and they can't access BF4 either ... i have talked to all of them and they are just playing other games until an EA technicians comes to our homes and fixes it

The servers are up and there are people playing on them.
Do you have a PC by chance? If so let’s find out how your connection is reaching our servers. Can you run a UO Trace and screenshot me the results? Instructions here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/.
Im using macbook with no LAN cable unfortunately

That's unfortunate. It'll make it more difficult to find out what's happening. What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?
Reboot modem/ wifi... wait 5 minutes boot back up then 5 minutes later boot up PS4.
try wifi connection then Lan connection.
PS4 connection test is blazing fast with low ping .
not sure what else would be needed. I also have PS3 I could boot that up and see if it connects or not ?

You should always stick to a wired connection. It's a lot more reliable than wireless. Try using alternate DNS servers with the instructions here:
https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003048283-Changing-DNS-on-Popular-Gaming-Systems-PS4-XBox1-WiiU-. If those don't work, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.
This worked !!!! You are the best !
im so happy because in lock down and thought I wouldn’t be able to play

Great! I'm really glad to hear it! Did you pass that info on to your friends? Hopefully it helps for them as well.
No change. Game still hangs up trying to find EA servers.

Have you tried opening the ports for Battlefield? They are listed here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/opening-tcp-or-udp-ports-for-connection-issues/. You can get some help with this at www.portforward.com.
Ive decided no game should take this much effort to play online when every other game i own on ps4 works just fine. And BF4 used to work like the rest of them.
