Re: Can't play multiplayer with friend

Hi, we're playing on PC, and yes, when in a party I see his avatar, so we're a bit puzzled by this

Not sure if this is the same issue or not but my friend and I cannot play on the same server reguardless of what we do.  Not sure why this is happening, the only thing I can figure is we are on the same Router but this is only a guess.

Oh and to be clear we both own seperate copies and are playing on PC!

Have you tried joining through the Platoons Tab, assuming you're in the same Platoon?

It can be a bit tricky sometimes trying to join each other in-game.

The only other thing I can suggest is trying to join through the Origin App.

When you have the Game launched, follow these steps:

1. Alt + Tab to Origin

2. Pull up your friends list

3. Go to the desired friend you're trying to play with, and see if there is a "Join Game" option.

Give this a shot, and see if it works.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue as well.

Have you tried joining your friend through the Origin App?

While you're in Game, pull up the Origin App, find your friend's name in your friends list, and see if there is a "Join Game" option.

Yes, we tried both in game and by Orgin and still get the same issue.  We can both join seperate servers but not the same one at the same time. we get the loading screen, reserving spot and then server disconnected, you have lost the connection to the session.

We have not tried repairing files.  We did just try creating and joining through the Platoons tab but with same result.
