You have not been cheated. 

The launch way delayed by about 8-10 hours (from what it looks like now). You can see the specifics on Battlelog or even in the read first stickies in here if you are lucky. This happens. All distributers of games of this size has occasional problems, this should not be anything new.
It is not a breach of any contract. You might want to read http://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/en/PC/#section5 of the EA TOS to which you have agreed to.
As for any compensation I don't believe there will be any considering the short delay, my guess it that they will just delay the release of the DLC to the non Premium people so it fits.
