You shouldn't need the serial key once the game is purchased. It should be playable from your game library.

I bought the game on steam before, but the game does not have a serial code, what should I do?

You shouldn't need a code. Just launch the game through Steam. It should be added when it's purchased.

When I click on "Vietnam" it asks for serial code and the game doesn't show up in the ea library

I'm not seeing any Battlefield games on the account you're posting with. Are you sure you're logging into the right one?

Hi I just bought the game today and it's requesting a serial key if I want to play multiplayer. I have restarted steam and nothing has changed. I bought this game through steam by the way.

A advisor said that many others having same problem and said no solution so he said he will email me when its fixed which will probably take a while

Also I provided my proof of purchase on steam and my reciept

I need the CD key for multiplayer

i also have the same issue. login ask for serial key. i just bought the game.

Purchased the game via Steam last weekend, unable to play multiplayer.

Managed to get a bot in a livechat who told me to link the steam & EA accounts, which was done (however the instructions provided are not working in my case, "install the app and it will ask you to link the accounts" did not happen. Instead they were linked through the add friends function. On the EA website, the correct steam account is inked).

No change, still no code, no information.

Opened a case (well actually several, by mistake, closed all but one), with attached proof of concept. It is not clear if this actually helps - did anyone get this resolved? How? Was the game added in Origin or did you get a code or did it simply start working?

Update -

got an answer back from EA support - "Please contact Steam". Who already claimed I should contact EA.

Quite a disappointing experience in 2022. Oh well money talks.
