One thing I do is SHIFT + WIN + S and just select the whole screen. Then I just tab in if it tabs me out.

There is also some other ways that are a bit more difficult if that doesn't work. For example if you open console using the tilde key you can enter the following
Screenshot.Render IIRCor
screenshot.render
I don't use these but I hope this helps!
