Same problem in Germany. I cannot find the game anywhere in Origin. The website also only shows related products like BF3.

I live in the UK and this did not work for me. There is no battlefield 1942 available on your website or download client. This is so stupid and annoying as im not even after a freebie i just want the game, i would gladly pay for it since it is miles better than the current battlefield 1. Can you direct me to somewhere i can buy it?

ea wil no longer host free downloads for bf1942 or paid cd roms as they no longer support bf1942
