Although this answer won't be what you most likely wanted to hear, it's probably a simple issue with the over load of servers, lag spikes, and might simply be due to the heavy play of the new release. Check your internet connection, and if it's not the problem, it'll most likely be a problem they address very quickly.

I don't think it's a server latency problem because when it starts, it comes with even to the game menu! Only way to get rid of it is to restart the game. Also my connection is fine since close quarters works fine, and the game doesn't otherwise lag except for the sound/audio part.

In that case the only option what i see is to reinstall the patch .. otherwise you need to do fresh install everything from begining ... after deleting the data from Game Utility

Yeah, I just did a fresh install. Didn't help. I guess there's nothing much more I can do. I hope they release a new patch soon.
