What is the exact error message you get and do these steps help get you back into the servers?
Reboot the Network
- Unplug the modem/router power for about 5 minutes to refresh the network. A fresh connection can help clear up most basic connectivity issues.
Power Cycle the Console
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
- Plug the console power cable back in.
- Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.
Clear Mac Address
- Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.
I myself tried those troubleshooting steps you recommend and I'm sure others did
This is not a localised problem as it's affecting everyone on xbox, everyone
It's obvious the XBOX multiplayer servers for BFBC2 are not fine!
"Hear, hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say!".
agreed!
In my case, the problem is that when the message "joining game" is displayed, it takes a long time until finally a connection window message appears "connection to the game server has been lost. Please check your network connection and try again"
Doesn’t work. It’s the servers!
Battlefield server is not working for me either. What's up with the server?
