If you're not showing the ones prior to the 100 then it sounds like it didn't actually unlock, sounds like it may have goofed. How many kills do you have in jets? Just to let you know, it takes 10,000 kills to get the 100th service star.

Now it appears that my Jet record has been completely wiped since last week when the error occured... I don't even know what has happened to my profile now... And for some reason now I have all the veteran medals, which I didn't even register or ask for... 😕mileyfrustrated:
I had almost 8,000 kills with the F-18 Super Hornet, and almost 7,500 kills with the SU-35 Flanker. However, the stars are not awarded by kills. Like any vehicle service stars, they're awarded every time all of the unlocks are unlocked or those points are racked up, unlike the weapon service stars that unlocked every 100 kills. Example: It takes 35,000 points to unlock all of the addons for the Jets. These means that the first 35,000 points you get, you unlock all the addons and the Jet mastery dog tag... then every additional 35,000 points gained with the jet gets you a service star. So the Jet 100 Service Star dog tag requires 3,500,000 points, not 10,000 kills. Since people bail out of their vehicles all the time, I'm often getting, 'Vehicle Disabled' before I'm getting kills.
What's going on here?
To the best of my knowledge it still runs off kills. I don't have any pure proof of that except a friend has almost 500 kills with tanks and doesn't have the 5 service stars tag yet, but has unlocked all of the unlocks on it. So honestly not too sure, but I think it runs off the kills.
