I am having the same problem. I bought the game through steam and installed it to my old computer, which is now dead, and now when I try to play with my BFBC2 online account it says that the code/cd key is already in use. I hope that EA actually read this because I have been looking at customer support for hours now and nothing is coming to close to helping, just making me madder.

Please get sure that you logged in with your Origin account you redeemed your code the first time. If you never redeemed your product code on Origin to activate your game, go to following website and activate your code there. If you still have this issue, you need to get in contact with your retailer and ask for an replacement. If you had an old EA ID connected to the game but linked to a different e-mail address, get in contact with one of our Game Advisor.

Ok, I followed the contact advisor thing and was able to talk to someone. After we went through some process it turned out that all the answers have been right in front of me. I do have another account under a different e-mail, of which i have now reset the password and am able to enter it. Im sorry EA for wasting your time on a stupid mistake from my part.
you say that like I haven't tried. I havethe code, but for some reason I don't have the correct email. It should be able to get access to the game with just the code, cause that on it's own is enough to prove that I paid for the game way before Origin even existed and decided to complicate everything.
If I don't have the email, I can't play the game. So I have this useless code here and a game in my library I can't play. Please tell me exactly why I can't have the email that was hooked to the code? Why does the safety rules make it so damn hard to play a game? It's insane. Worst customer support I've ever had the agony of speaking to.
Hello! I try to activate my code again, cause I played the Game on my Pc before, then my hard drive got Re-Formatted, and then I wanted to re-install the game, and it didn't let me play, cause it said that the Serial number was already in use (By me), so I don't know what to do:/ please help me?
I'm gonna be brief. This is not a sollution, it did not work whatsoever, and I still can't play. The fact that there is a "SOLVED" tag on my post that I never got help with, pisses me off to be frank.

Did you actually contact a game advisor? BecauseI cannot find you did in your previous posts.
Your code was linked to your account and a
game advisor is able to recover your account
for you.
Once your account has been recovered, youcan login with it and start playing.
