Re: Low ping, high latency/ rubberbanding in battlefield 4

Thanks. I asked around for any other possible causes and have a couple of things worth checking if the problem persists after the clean boot.

If you use Wifi, try connecting with an ethernet cable. If the rubberbanding goes away, then it'll be a wifi issue. We have also heard of cases where network card issues were at fault, perhaps refreshing the drivers will help.

Also, to jump on another fairly random cause, if you keep connecting to servers in the same geographical region, try connecting to one a completely separate direction and test if the issue persists. This is in case there's an issue along the route.

  • The homepage says they're rolling out new servers. Since that notice has popped up, my lag has been at a fairly steady rate, and the game is once again playable. Glad to see it's nothing on my end, 'cause I don't know what I would have done otherwise! Regardless, really appreciate your time and effort, nice to see things finally being resolved. Cheers!
