Re: Need Help Reconnecting My Account to EA Play

Hi @ICWinter I suspect that this might just be down to the Companion app, as it has not functioned correctly for some time now. You could try viewing your account outside of the app to check if everything is there.

You will need to keep trying with EA Help if the above is not the case, unfortunately, as there's nobody here who can view and amend account information.

  • Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the issue is that I don't know what option on the BF1 EA Help page would let me create a ticket to then talk to one of their representatives. It all sends me to "help" pages.

Is there a way to force-create a ticket there? Because this is actually a really critical issue since I no longer have access to my friend list, but frustratingly enough, even the "I want to report a bug in the game" option on the EA Help page sends me here.

@ICWinter No, it's not possible to create EA Help tickets here I'm afraid. However, the steps below allowed me to contact them just now.

    - Search for Battlefield 1 and select it.
    - Choose to see more help topics.
    - Select "I need help restoring my progress in the game".
    - Select the contact option towards the bottom of the next page (it gave me live chat, but you may see the email option).

If the contact option doesn't appear, go through the steps again but make sure you're logged out of your account (N.B. one point of the process will ask you to log in, but you can decline).
