Under system type is should say "32-Bit Operating System" or "64-bit Operating System". If 32-bit operating system, download the x86 file, and if 64-bit download the x64 file.

1- Download PB then extract files to your desktop.
2- Open Punk Buster folder.
3- Click on the PB setup and it will open.
4-Add your BF4 game to punk buster its at the top of Punk Buster.
5-Then update punk buster again at the top of Punk Buster.

Reboot PC test BF4

If all this fails to fix it then try this...

C:\Users\your PC Name\Documents\Battlefield 4

BF4 folder in my documents holds game configs and screen shots even if BF4 is installed on different drive. When you uninstall BF4 it does NOT remove this folder. So when you install the game again you can still have the same issues. Even if its not a new install it is still worth trying as the game cfg could be mucked up.

1- Go to my Documents and remove BF4 folder place it on your Desktop for now.
2- Be warned you do have to set up your in game settings again.
3-Repair BF4
4- When done go test your game. If it fails reboot your PC and run repair game again and test BF4.

Thanks for the quick reply Zorlacc -

I did as you suggested and played 3 rounds last night with no issues whatsoever on a server that was notorious for kicking me off for the port 3659 issue. Although it appears to be runing fine at the moment, it doesnt always kick me and I might go a few days without issue so we will see in the coming days what happens.

Also I might point out the running as admin and disabling origin in game suggestions seems to bear alot of weight. One thing I forgot to mention is my game would  lag out for a few seconds just before I would get kicked almost like something was asking permission to do a certain task as admin or origin was trying to do something in the background. Buut I never had a dialog box or any kind of prompt when the game reverted back to desktop.

I will run the game some more and see where I get in the next few days and post back my findings.

    Thanks again for your suggestions!

Welp it appears I have a fixed BF4..its been over a coupla weeks with no problems, but I find my BF3 issue still exists...except now I get kicked for no reason at all. The game just shuts down and goes back to Battlelog with no error. It may be the server I play on as well I have a bro that it does the same thing to. I wanna thank you Zorlacc for taking the time to help a fellow gamer out. I consider my BF4 issue solved.

    regards,

    Sammy
