Re: [READ FIRST] Before you create a post about a technical issue!
Things you might consider checking / trying before asking about your issue.
(remember to mention which of these you have tried if they don't work)
Current outages and bugs:
- Check the Origin server status: http://www.origin.com/us/status
- Check http://help.ea.com
- Check News and Official Announcements on Battlelog, stickies in Answer HQ, the Battlefield Hardline Twitter account for outages and current problems.
- Sometimes things just break, the Internet is a giant web and sometimes parts of it breaks, be patient and wait a little before writing and always mention how long you have had the problem when you do.
Common questions:
- Banned? Answer HQ can't help you. Read this: - https://help.ea.com/in/article/information-about-b

- Update ALL your drivers especially the graphics card but also components like soundcards, network card, motherboard/chipset, headset and mouse+keyboard, to the newest version. If the problem came with a new driver then remove that driver and downgrade to the driver that worked.
- Try to empty your browser's cache, history and temporary files.
- Make sure your hard drives are not having troubles

- Check Windows' system files for errors:
http://help.ea.com/sg/article/how-do-i-run-the-system-file-checker/ - Try deleting the BF Hardline's Settings folder in C:\Users\Username\Documents (this resets all settings)
- Reinstall DirectX, VC, Punkbuster using the installers located in your __Installer folder in your Origin Games --> Hardline directory

You can also use the reliability window: Start -> type "Reliability" -> View Reliability History -> Find Crash -> Right Click -> View Technical Details

Graphics Troubleshooting:
- Do a clean reinstall of your graphics driver.
This requires you to completely remove all graphics drivers and software you have installed, making sure there's no traces left on your system, even in the registry. The guide on how to do this is too long to place here but there's guides all over the internet.

Hardware/Performance Troubleshooting:
- Try disabling all soundcards it in the BIOS
- Make sure your CPU/other is not overheating, check if all fans are running and record and post your temperatures
- Check if the problem persists with all unnecessary hardware disconnected (no printer, speakers, USB devices except keyboard+mouse, lights etc.)
- Clean your computer. Use compressed air and blow out ALL the dust in your computer. Take out the GPU, Soundcard, RAM, CPU and put them back in (remember new thermal paste for the CPU).
