Yeah it was sketchy (but working mostly) earlier but just tanked entirely about 10 minutes ago for me.  Ah well, wide-release launch day issues.

i would have thought all this should have be ironed out with the beta its really not on we all should be compensated for the downtime  add xp if you agree seeing as we gamers that buy there games are there bread and butter without us loyal customers they would soon be out of business

Seeing as EA is not responsible for the issue and it is due to a DDOS attack, they don't owe you anything. There are no bugs to be "ironed" out here, just a group of stupid hackers.

You don't know what a DDOS attack is do you? A better firewall won't stop a DDOS attack.

Than maybe EA should have invested some of its multiple millions of dollars on a better security system....I'm not gonna feel sorry for them and either should you.

Someone can think up that *, then there is someone that can think up a way to stop it. Not like this is the first time its been done.

  • Even security program centers get attacked by DDOS attacks, and best they can do it track it back to it's source and cut them out. It's denial of service, not a virus or anything like it. "something to stop it" can't stop what doesn't even reach it.

I don't give two * hairs about what it is!! This isn't the first issue with EA we ALL have had. I don't want excuses,i want my money back!!! done with this * company. If you went to a restaurant and they had you pay first and then said "oh sorry you wont be getting your food because we never bought an oven" you wouldn't accept that would you? stop being a brown eye kisser!

Wow... your level ignorance astounds me.

Please do some research before you start raging on a somewhat civil discussion thread.

EA, can we get an update on this issue? Can you confirm it's connected to the widespread DDOS attacks? The last official statement simply acknowledges problems with PS4 servers with no reason why and no mention of my PC issues. Is this outage caused by hackers or ineptitude?

    my ignorance?? lmao!!!

Yes, your ignorance. You are trolling and bashing EA, demanding a refund for an event that is out of EA control and that effects you maybe a few times a year. This thread is for discussing a technical issue and if you can't do that or provide constructive information you are in the wrong place.

    azzkikur is right.

If you buy something you should have whole dinner not the appetizers..

Btw it's ok to say loud and clear what you think some company if it's not satisfy your needs. And it's Ea they don't do shieaut anyway so? :D
