I also noticed these squares. I first thought it had something to do with the head tracking with the kinect .. but it even flashes when it has said it acquired the correct position or what ever it says.. Then i got to thinking maybe it was a Connection symbol telling you your connection is slow..? I have no clue but i to would like to know what they mean..
