Really REALLY bad textures in BF4 PS3

you: The game on PS3 somehow is not fixing the textures correctly. I'm having similar visual graphics as on one of the first battlefields. So at this moment, I'm not happy at all that I've purchased it
Nitin: Unfortunate to hear this.
you: EA told that this game had great textures, as it works with the newest game engine
you: But, I cannot see anything of this. I was playing multiplayer mode, and there are only edgy shapes, low detail on effects, weird colors.
you: It just does not fit the battlefield game experience

you: Did you guys have more complaints about this?
you: And is there going to be a fix for this, or is there something like an extra texture pack

you: But my retailer doesnt help me either. I'm really thinking about returning this game. Its really dissapointing! The textures are like BF1942, if you know this game!

you: I will wait for that. But please do give me related answers, instead of giving me advice to lower my PC graphics and such. Really. I'm waiting a long time now, and you are not giving answers to my questions so far.

Nitin: There is might be a in game glitch , that's why you are facing this problem.

I havent found a way to change my graphic options on my PS3. EA. Serious. How can we solve this problem?

Well, here we are. few weeks further, still no problem solved. 

The game still looks like it was early beta stage. 

Online gameplay sucks really hard, because the vehicles move very unreal, characters have got really bad textures and the tanks drive around with triangular guns, the game has got really cartoonish colors, gras effects is only to be loaded within a range of 1,5 meters....

EA.. Serious? Whats the problem? I really like to have a solution?

If so, that's the way it looks on PS3. If not, then reinstall the game on your machine and clear your cache. 

i dont know if this will help you or anyone else, but i was having similar problems restoring bf4 back to HD after about a week of playing with my new capture card settings. my solution came when i realized that the output display settings for my ps3, had been left only in 1080i, bf4 runs on 1080p (atleast for ps3) so when i checked off 1080i AND 1080p for the hdmi output settings it corrected itself when i reentered the game. hope this helps.

Pretty much this.  PS3 is maxed out resource wise with BF4 which is why it frequently stutters and momentarily freezes during the rain screen after you start the game, this doesn't happen on any other platform.  Also PS3 usually renders non-first party games in 720P instead of 1080P like many other platfrorms so it will look worse when compared with other platforms.  That being said BF4's graphics on PS3 are on par with BF3's PS3 graphics (still much better than older battlefield titles), did you also play BF3 on PS3?

Yup. I've also played BF3 on PS3. 

I think it's a shame to start selling a top game like battlefield on PS3, if you cannot beat the previous version. BF4 keeps failing rendering, loses sound everywhere, many texture bugs in single player mode and online is even worse then single player. 

The look and feel of the original Battlefield titles is totally lost like this. I really regret it!

Are you for real?  You want what is essentially a modified 7800 Geforce card to play BF4 at HD textures???  Get a new machine console boy, the PS3 is way past its day.  Cant believe you moan so much .
