Reducing Sun Glare

Hello 🙂

First of all I want to express what great job you are doing , EA & DICE for the Battlefield games and community . But I think you kind of went a bit too far with the realism in the Sun Glare feature . I consider my self a casual player and I hate it when I have to be with my team infront of the sun . This makes us move really slow , distracts us very much and not to mention when you get shot from that ''blind'' spot . So I had to look up for some solutions and I found some console commands . I already talked to a member of EA Support and he redirected me here . So I wanted to know are these commands safe and do they really reduce or remove the sun glare 🙂

- "GstRender.Enlighten 0"
- "GstRender.Brightness 0.394186"
- "GstRender.Contrast 0.400000"

    The first line didn't work. Also "list"(command) doesn't show anything near relevant to those commands. Perhaps fake.

    It'd be nice if they were legit. Also code lines are probably safe. Worst case senario you change a setting you didn't want to, like disabling the user interface, and you can change it back.

    For anyone playing in the future the settings/commands the op was talking about are in the settings file of the game said file is in Documents-Battlefield 1-settings i edited the PROFSAVE_profile i have yet to try this changes but for whoever comes looking in the future good luck and have fun

    Thank you SOOOOOOO much. This setting also works in battlefront II (same engine), and I think it'll fix the insane sun on felucia.
