Reinstalling games on a new HDD

Hello, I have Battlefield 4 on Origin I'll be replacing the HDD, and reinstalling Windows 7. I wanted to know if my single player saves will be saved online like the multiplayer, or do I have to copy the save files out of the BF4 folder?

    Hi,

if you have Origin cloud storage enabled, the save files are stored in the cloud, yes.

To be sure your saves are ... . . save, you can also copy the files from the following

folder: " your documents" \Battlefield 4 to a usb storage device.

If you are replacing the disk and reinstalling on a the new one, I assume the old is still

working, you can use the old disk as "restore" disk for Origin. So do not format it yet.

After reinstalling your system, have the old disk attached to the system. Download and

install the latest Origin client. Login to the client and start downloading the games you

want to install. When a download has started, pause it. When all downloads are paused,

    exit Origin.

Go to your old disk and copy the game folders from the Origin folder (standard is:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games)

Paste them in the same folder on the new disk\installation. Depending on the number
of games, this copying might take awhile.

when copying is done, start Origin again and resume all downloads. Origin will

check existing files and downloads missing files which should go pretty fast and will start

    installing the game(s) soon.

This way you do not have to use install disks or download the game(s) compleet

    again.
