You probably want to get your Windows fixed before fixing anything else. Windows is the foundation and why build upon a foundation that is falling apart.
What have you done to fix your Windows? Have you run Windows System File Checker after checking the harddrives?

As for the games, what procedure/method did you use for moving the games so they work in the Origin client?

The disk was formatted and windows was reinstalled. SFC /Scannow was run anyway after reviewing system event log.

It seems like a permissions issue. Try starting Origin as administrator:
You might also want to reinstall Origin again after a manual uninstall:
