My Ping 7 ms, my mates was about 45 ms. Both with Network Smoothing 0%.
Moving and bad ping increased the chances a lot, as well as using weapons with slow bullets such as pistols.
Maybe the hitbox is lagging and the bullet counts more than one hit.
A lot of eSport players are already complaining about this.

Pings were not even higher than 40.
Stop rushing the game if you want to keep the playerbase, cuz you lost a lot of players by this release.
Thank you! I usually play on low ping servers (18-25) and use a network smoothing factor of 0. These examples are exactly what I have been experiencing since the game was released.
