[RESOLVED] Aftermath Error - "You need to download and install this expansion."
Hi guys!
All account issues with the Battlefield 3 expansion Aftermath have been resolved. Don't forget that you will still need to download the game update if you have not done so. Please note that you may also need to exit your Origin client completely and log back on in order to see the content in the Origin client -> BF3 info tab.

If you still have issues while downloading Aftermath:
Please get sure that you have Installed the newest Origin client and run Origin.exe as administrator.
- Logged out of Origin and Log in again.
- Go to My Games
- Right click on BF3 - Show game Details
- Chose Aftermath.
The download should start after that.
If that workaround doesn't solved your issue, you will need to contact an EA Game Advisor so they can procede to some verifications on your account.
- Go to https://help.ea.com/ and log in to your Origin account.
- Click on the "Contac us. Get back in the game" button.
- Select the appropriate information for each of the following options:
- Product (Game title)
- Category (Type of issues
- Platform (Version of the game)
Once these steps are completed, the available contact options will become visible.

Have premium but cant download the expansion, mainly because its simply not there with your other expansions?
I just got mine fixed. Go through the answer HQ contact us screen here ----> https://help.ea.com/contact-us
and select battlefield and aftermath, then account, then pc I assume you are on a pc? Then use the option at the bottom for CALL ME. They called in about 15 mins and had to manually apply the expansion via phone. I am downloading as we speak. Good luck!

Help yourselves and follow the directions above to get an EA rep to call you, you will be playing in no time.
