Since EA and DICE are completely useless on this matter and they don't care and EvenBalance is even worse (they treat everyone like a guilty criminal instead of a paying customer), I'll post what worked for me when I had this problem in BF3 (and I've had it happen a couple times in BF4). I've tried everything listed in this thread and every other thread I could find. I've tried every single thing EvenBalance told me to do over the course of a couple of months. I've tried a completely new Win 8 install on a new SSD and still had the problem.
What worked for me was to create a second user in windows which I'll call Gaming. The Gaming account has no background apps running except those required by my games (Origin/Steam, Logitech Mouse/Keyboard software, NVidia GeForce Experience). When I want to play BF, I log off of my main account and into my Gaming account. Have never been kicked while using that account.
Hopefully this works for some of you. I'd just like to express one more time how displeased I am that there are dozens of threads with hundreds of users with similar problems and EA just passes the buck to EvenBalance and EvenBalance treats its customers like criminals. PB doesn't work, there are always cheaters and EB's walled-garden approach of not giving you any information about what app/driver is even causing the problem because they're afraid people will use that info to break their feeble security model is weak and punishes it's customers more than it manages to punish cheaters. I equate it to just locking up random citizens in jail without telling them why because if criminals knew what the law was, they could escape it. The citizens can get out of jail but only if they can randomly guess why they happen to be in there. It's a good thing society isn't as **bleep** to it's citizens as EvenBalance is to it's customers. Horrible people working there.
