im on windows 7 just downloaded and installed battlefield 2142 and i am getting a run time error as you can see in the image below

i am on framework 4.5 my visual c++ is up to date on the 2012 build.
i5 2500k @ 4.3ghz
mushkin 8gb 2133mhz
nvidia gtx 760 @ 1200mhz
corsair cx600 PSU
hitachi 1tb HDD
Community AdminCan you try running in XP compatibility mode and see if this has any effect?
just gave it a try and gave me bf2142.exe has stopped working tried running it in SP3 and SP2 no luck with that.

Community AdminHmm, there may be corruption in the game client itself. If you're running it through Origin, please right-click and choose the Repair Install option. If you're not using Origin, try reinstalling.
Just as another thing to check, in case there is graphics driver corruption, try removing and reinstalling a fresh set of drivers.
there is no repair install option for 2142 on origin.
and drivers are all fine.
