Russian to English version and keeping player name/stats/ etc..

Hi, first of all I realise this has been asked many times before but unfortunately I cannot find a definitive answer to:

Back when I bought the game in 2011 I made the mistake of buying the Russian game, (Russian game voices). No big deal at first because there were ways to change it to English with the language packs / registry changes. But the last time the game was updated I could never get the language change to work... it's quite a while ago now, It's not just a case of all dialogue being in Russian they are simply not there. All other sounds are ok, just dialogue. Of course I am only referring to multiplayer.

I really miss them and rather trawl the internet again for a fix and possibly screwing up my game I was wondering if I bought the English version could I keep my progress, player name & stats etc... I also bought Premium as well, which obviously I would be prepared to buy again if need be.

I am sorry but that is not possible, the Russian version of the game does not come with an English language pack, you would need to buy an EN version of the game and get in contact with one of our Game Advisor to change the entitlements on your account.

    As far as I know language of the game is connected with your Product Code. If you bought Battlefield 3 via Russian Origin store, you will get Battlefield 3 in Russian Language. But if you buy Battlefield 3 via English Origin (USD currency), your Product Code should be updated to "Multilanguage". Open spoiler to see example:

    Also, you can buy Product Code of Battlefield 3 via retail store, but in that case EA assumes no responsibility with respect to the selection, performance, and use of information or products found on these or other third-party retailers and websites.

    I'm sorry, but we don't have official solution or manual how to buy EA games via EN Origin Store. I think you can buy Battlefield 3 Multilanguage/ Region free via retail stores.
