That's disappointing to hear, and is a deal breaker for me on BF1.
As for the other issues, I came into the game at level 1 obviously, and the game claimed it was pairing me with like-skilled players, and constantly landed me in games full of guys in the 80s and 90s. Being dead more than you're alive (and having a K/D of something like 3-100 after 6 hours of play) pretty much remove the fun from the game.
One-shot to the body sniper rifles. I understand that's slightly more realistic than BF4, but again, being dead the whole time isn't fun.
Gas/Grenade spamming. I'm sure DICE is aware of that issue, as it's being talked about non stop on the internet, and I found it somewhat frustrating in my short time of playing.
The rest of my frustration was simply learning a new game, which is unavoidable, but I still felt like I should have had a smoother transition from BF4 to BF1, but it just seems they changed too much to keep it smooth....almost like BF4 was made for PC, and BF1 was made for console, if that makes sense. If the controls were the same, and I could switch back and forth between the two games without re-learning them, I might give BF1 another try, but as it stands, I'll be passing on it.
