Also having this issue. Only been able to connect to matches that have not already started. I've seen solutions involving messing with router settings, but I'm using a campus network at my university so I can't do that.
The BF1 ports needed are at:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/battlefield/battlefield-1/battlefield-1-troubleshooting
You might also want to manually add Origin.exe and BF1.exe to the Windows firewall + whatever antivirus / security software you might be running.
Also, try see if there's issues after a clean boot:
https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
this is an important troubleshooting step.

Try to disable antivirus, and also to remove IPV4 and IPV6 SPI Firewall protection from my router. Nada...
They are clearly issues and your side... I have prove more than enough that BF1 Multi dosent work and I try everything.
So what would it be EA/Dice. Refund or you are going to respond to me someday....

Having the same problem. Had this problem in Beta also... Every time I Repair the game through origin it starts to work normally again. But the last week alone i had to repair 4 times total.. I should not have to keep doing this to play. Its not my computer, connection, or modem. This problem is on EA "Dice" Side. needs to be Fixed

I've not been able to play the game online for over a week but just tonight got it to work .
Go into your router settings and disable the UPNP option . Save the changes then log out. Log back into the router settings and turn it back on. Mine was already activated but for some reason it wasnt working. After re activating the UPNP option The "EA TUNNEL" showed up in my port forwarding automatically as it should have done from the beginning. Voila! It actually works...after more than a week...what a silly issue...i only figured it out playing around with the settings on my router for hours. But anyone with the "Disconnected from server" issue thats solved it for me. Try it and let me know . CHEERS!

what do you mean by EA tunneling?

I've tried everything that has been posted on EA forums and troubleshooting areas. Nothing works and I can play other multiplayer games without any problem.
The moment I start playing BF1 online it gets disconnected for no reason. This shouldn't be happening.
I've tried UOTU and i get 100% packet loss from some hosts.
