Server Timeout Error - Might be CPU temp overload related

Hey guys, I think I may have figured out my server timeout error and freeze up issue. Not sure it will solve everyone's freeze up issue but at least it gives you another area to check. I ran across ...

If you were having overtemp situations then you would be seeing bluescreens and/or spontaneous reboots.

Server timeouts are caused by connectivity issues. Try the following:

  • Power cycle your router
  • Connect to your router directly with a cable rather than wirelessly
  • If possible, test with a different router
  • If available, update your router firmware.
  • It may be worthwhile testing connectivity while using Google DNS: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

I had already tried:

  • Power cycle your router
  • Connect to your router directly with a cable rather than wirelessly

Still had the error. If my router was the issue wouldn't I be having the same issues playing BF3 or surfing online? Also, I can swtich to my gaming laptop and play BF4 fine without the server timeout issues wirelessly and on the same router.
